I’m a design leader from Raleigh, North Carolina who’s spent my career in complex enterprise software. Cybersecurity, compliance, and risk products where clarity isn’t optional. I build the systems that make good design scale, keep quality consistent across teams, and stay close enough to the work to care about the details that matter.

My Process
Good design doesn’t happen in isolation. My process is built around staying embedded with product, engineering and data science from the first conversation to the final release. That means not handing work over a wall and hoping for the best.

Discovery & Collaboration
I don’t wait for a ticket. I stay close to the problem space, build relationships with product leadership and executives, and influence roadmap decisions before work gets defined. The best design outcomes start with asking the right questions early.

Insight Gathering
I work across the organization with executives, product, customer success, sales, and directly with users to build a clear picture of the problem space before any solutions get explored. That means running workshops, facilitating alignment sessions, and combining qualitative research with behavioral data.

Interaction Design
I work from flows to high-fidelity using AI tools like Claude and Cursor to explore ideas faster. I’ve connected our Figma design system via MCP and pull real platform data through APIs to prototype and test with realistic content. The goal is always to make the system better, not more fragmented.

Rapid Iteration
Rapid prototyping with real data means I can run RITE sessions earlier and more often than ever. Find it, fix it, retest. That loop used to take weeks. Now it’s days.

Delivery & Impact
I stay in it through launch and beyond. That means handing off AI-generated code ready for engineering review, staying close to implementation to make sure what ships matches what was designed, and partnering with customer success to make sure users actually understand and get value from new capabilities.

Measuring Success
I measure outcomes through a mix of quantitative signals and qualitative feedback gathered directly from customer-facing teams. The CSMs and account execs I work with are some of my best research partners. They’re talking to users every day and can surface real friction that never makes it into a support ticket.
